Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts has a reputation as one of the top ranking Red Stag, Fallow Buck, Tahr and Chamois areas in New Zealand, where outstanding world class trophies have been taken.

Dedicated and experienced, your guides know the Leithen Valley area extensively and work hard to give you a hunt both memorable and enjoyable. As an experienced hunter yourself, you'll know that skill plays a big part in any hunt. Our guides are there to make sure that luck, teamed with your own experience, dedication and good equipment, is on your side.

The key note to our operation is individual attention from first to last, your hunt being attended to personally by Alan and Sue Stewart, owners and operators of Leithen Valley Trophy Hunts New Zealand.

Hunts are offered for both trophy and non-trophy animals with your hunt customised to suit your individual preferences and budget.
Tahr and Chamois are hunted in the Southern Alps. The Tahr is a prized trophy for its horns and lion-like mane or ruff, while the elusive Chamois make a much sought after addition to the trophy room.

Fishing and Bird hunting can be arranged in season, with many good rivers and streams within an hours drive from Leithen Valley.
